Reborn Babies

What are reborn babies?

Reborn babies are vinyl or silicone dolls that have been painted, weighted and turned into a "baby" that you can treasure for all times. These dolls are turned from a basic play doll into a doll that is collectible and no longer for play. Each baby is one of a kind and precious in it's own way.

Little Peanut Nursery's babies are painted with Genesis Heat Set paints in many thin layers. This gives the baby a depth that looks more life-like. The hair is micro-rooted, meaning it is inserted in the head with a 1 barb needle so that only 1-3 hairs are inserted in each hole. This makes the baby's scalp look more like a newborn baby. The babies are weighted with poly-pellets and polyfill giving the effect of holding a newborn baby in your arms.

I have been reborning dolls for 4 years now. These babies are painted and created with lots of hours and love. I enjoy seeing a doll just come to life. The babies are not toys but are treasures to enjoy.

I am able to create a life-like play doll for your child. There will be less detail and certain special things will not be included like magnetic paci's or in some cases the eyelashes. I try to make it lighter too and don't like to use the poly pellets in a play doll as they can be a choking hazard should they fall out. This makes the baby suitable for all ages.

Diaper Covers

Why do I need a wool cover?

Wool diaper covers are naturally antibacterial and excellent at preventing leaks and wicking. Wicking is when your child wets so much that the outside of your cover starts to feel wet. This usually happens during naps and overnight. Wool soakers are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They also are very breathable. Your little ones tushie will stay cool and not overheat with wool covers.

These are made from fisherman's wool that can be dyed to your specific color or I use cascade 220 or merino wool that is already dyed, you just pick your color!

Binky B's

Binky B's are a brand new product from Little Peanut Nursery. These wonderful blankets are hand crocheted and have a tab that you can attach your child's pacifier to.

Many times my daughter would wake up crying because she couldn't find her paci in the middle of the night. So up you go to hunt down the paci and put your child back to sleep. With Binky B's the hunt is over! Your child's favorite crocheted blankie and their paci are all in one place. Now you or your child will be able to locate the missing paci in no time and limit the amount of time you both are awake during the night!!
